I don't have a C-wire. Can you still install one?

Yes. We can run a C-wire, install a Venstar add-a-wire adapter, or use Ecobee's PEK depending on what your system supports. We never leave it as a power-stealing kludge that drops connection.

Will a smart thermostat work with my boiler or heat pump?

Yes — with the right model and the right wiring. Heat pumps need a thermostat that supports auxiliary/emergency heat. Boilers need a thermostat compatible with low-voltage zone valves. This is exactly where DIY installs go sideways, and where we earn our keep.

Are there rebates available in Connecticut?

Utility and manufacturer offers can change. We can review the current programs that may apply to your selected thermostat and explain any eligibility or enrollment requirements before installation.

Can I get zoning without ripping the walls open?

In many cases, yes — with Ecobee remote sensors or a wireless zoning retrofit. For full mechanical zoning with dampers, we install Honeywell or Zonex systems that integrate with your existing ductwork.
